Empowering Women and Girls for an Independent Life is an initiative funded by the European Union (EU) and implemented by World Vision Albania and Women's Forum Elbasan, with the support of the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare (MHSW). The project aims to strengthen the capacities of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and local mechanisms to address gender inequalities and gender-based violence (GBV), creating sustainable solutions with long-term impact on the lives of women and girls in vulnerable situations.

Equal Gramsh - Security and Voice for All

The project "Equal Gramsh - Security and Voice for All" addresses the lack of specialized services and awareness in the field of gender equality and gender-based violence in the Gramsh Municipality. The project aims to increase access to services, awareness, and gender inclusion through concrete assistance, education, and the use of technology as a tool for reporting and prevention. It lasts 8 months and is implemented in partnership with the Gramsh Municipality, using public spaces and institutional engagement as logistical and moral support.

The overall goal of the project: To contribute to building a safer, more equal and inclusive community in the Gramsh Municipality, where women, girls, men and boys have equal access to protective services, development opportunities and education on gender rights, advancing gender equality standards, reducing discriminatory rates and strengthening institutional mechanisms for addressing and preventing gender-based violence.

All reports are treated with full confidentiality and professional care.
